My girflriend and I took a trip to Wyoming to visit my family last week, which was an absolute blast. This is a painting of an experience from Saturday. We were in the middle of a cloud during a rainstorm, a frightening experience but also a very beautiful one. Not much luck fishing, but we made some good memories :) My girlfriend and I are in the foreground, my family fishing in the background
This is a beautiful painting, Josh (and a beautiful memory). I think you did a brilliant job catching the atmosphere and movement and drenchedness of the moment. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty special :) The water almost transformed into something different, silvery and powerful, with the fog rolling over it and wind and rain pounding upon it. I'm glad we got to watch it together :)
