Sketching from life with a friend on tuesday at BYU Capoeira club. These were a few of my favorites :)
I love to sketch the figure in motion. There is a music to it, a grip to the action, whether it's sports, dance, or a little kid playing in the sandbox. It's hard to capture, and even when you do you only capture one interpretation, but its incredibly satisfying when a little life drips from your pen. Capoeira is all about motion, it's a beautiful martial art to "play" (in capoerista terms) and also incredibly fulfilling to sketch.
